• I can totally relate to her journey of symbols and shamanism and how we can find support for the spiritual side of our healing. I am about to finish my radiation treatment after chemo and surgery. To know that she started writing a year later after finishing treatment is very refreshing and promising for me.
• What is the meaning of a cancer experience? This small book provides some guideposts for journeying through our illness on the way to the Self. I expect to read this wise little books several more times as I work through my cancer.

• My wife read this book during her workouts on the treadmill during the waiting period of diagnose pre surgery for breast cancer. She keeps going back to it to use the imagery and metaphors of Patricia's journey to quote in her diary and use as mantras to calm her mind.
