- Just got mine yesterday & was referring to it last night! This shows you the pronunciation of names & places (which I've struggled with) and provides the verses in the Bible where you will see the name, or word you've looked up elsewhere within the Bible and it provides a more detailed explanation of what is meant. It is in alphabetical order making it easy to search a word, just like a regular dictionary. There are many illustrations which helps hold a visual interest. The page quality is thick & glossy making it an attractive book. A must have Bible companion! I was able to get so much more from the scripture I read by having this to refer to.
- This dictionary gets to the point quickly and is very easy to understand. If I need a more in depth definition or explanation I use a Bible Dictionary that provides more detail. The one request I would make to the publisher is that they develop the Table of Contents to make it easier to arrive at the word being sought. I can select the beginning letter of the word, but there is nothing to tap within that letter to take me closer to the word. Right now I usually end up paging and paging before coming to the word. The Student Bible Dictionary is a good resource and I'm glad I bought it.
